Biography:
Jessica Packard has been dancing, entertaining and “hamming it up” since the age of 4. She’s the former co-owner/co-founder of Phoenix’s first hula hoop troupe, Heady Hoop Tribe, and former studio manager of Altitude Aerials. She has performed at top EDM festivals, entertained at exclusive Super Bowl parties, and dazzled onlookers at corporate events such as Yelp, Microsoft, SRP and more. This lady has more than one trick up her sleeve. She’s a professional hula hooper, LED dancer, fire dancer, stilt walker, character artist, interactive entertainer and aerialist. You’ll be left smiling by her upbeat energy, grace and undeniable skill.

Tell us how you fell in love with the flow arts.
I started hooping in 2009 after seeing girls hula hoop at music festivals (Bonnaroo and Rothbury). It started as learning a "party trick" to impress others, but then I got completely addicted!!! I started researching the internet for hoops and learning off YouTube for the first year or so. It just grew from there!
What inspires your style of flow the most and how do you find your flow state?
Rhythmic gymnastics and dance inspires my style of flow. I find my flow state my connecting the music and the energy around me.
Tell us what makes you passionate about the flow arts.
Flow arts makes me happy. It's something that has become my work, but doesn't feel like it. I get to work with amazingly talented people
Tell us other ways you contribute to the flow arts and/or festival community.
I teach local classes in my community as well as perform at many of the festivals such as Gem & Jam, Gold Rush and Decadence.
