Biography:

Lisa has been based in Vienna since 2001. She loves to travel across the globe to spread the hooping fun while performing on stage and teaching workshops. Many years of show experience make her performance a real highlight for any kind of event.

For 10 years she has been touring worldwide with the multimedia & special effect performance company PhoenixCreative not only on stage but also coordinating the bookings from the headquarters in Vienna, where she also managed their training space the Vienna Circus Arts Center.

In 2008 she discovered her love for the hula hoop, since then most her life is circling around this fascinating object of infinite possibilities. She has passionately specialized in fire and multiple hooping with LEDs, UV active or reflecting special effects. 2011 she started her solo project Lisa Looping which lifted her performance career to the next level.

Lisa is also teaching Aerial and Acro Yoga and co-organises the annual Aerial Arts Festival in Vienna.

Tell us how you fell in love with the flow arts?

When I saw a friend of a friend play with Poi for the first time in 1999 I bought my first pair in Oddballs London and couldn't stop practicing until i could play a weave. 2008 I fell in love with the hula hoop and became a professional multi hoop artist.

What inspires your style of flow the most and how do you find your flow state?

I have been teaching almost every hoop convention in Europe and get inspired by all the amazing teachers and students there.

I organized the Austrian Hoop Convention, now also the annual Aerial Arts Festival Austria.
