Biography:

Lux Luminous is one of the most well known Leviwanders. With ten years dedicated to the prop. She has pushed the art form forward, and spread it across the country. Lux’s style is short string contact wand! She tosses, she contacts, and balances her way across the stage.

Lux is a well established teacher in our community. Year after year touring the country and spreading the prop that she loves best.

Beyond just Leviwand, Lux is also a community leader. She helps organize large events like: New England Flow Fest, Boston Juggling Festival, and The Flow Show Boston. Lux also runs digital marketing for several other events in the country.

When Lux isn’t organizing festivals and practicing, she does graphic design, digital illustrations, and clothing design. All specifically for the Flow Arts Community.

Tell us how you fell in love with the flow arts.

By accident! I thought it was silly the first time I saw it! Then a friend convinced to me try it.

What inspires your style of flow the most and how do you find your flow state?

Baton twirling has really been my big inspiration as of lately. I find my flow state best when I’m drilling tricks. Something about the repetitive motion.
